The Y-Airer is a folding clothes drying rack with over 79ft. of drying space. Quite possibly the most versatile drying rack made. Unique Y-shape allows for flat drying of delicate items or used in the upright configuration you can hang longer garments on coat hangers. Or use on up and one flat for a combination of both. Also has lower tier flat drying surface. Durable powder coat finish allows for use indoors or outside. Plastic feet protect your floors. Folds flat for easy storage.

I have had this drying rack for a few weeks and am absolutely loving it. It is large and sturdy. It easily holds 2-3 loads of laundry, and keeps items separated and not touching so that they dry faster.
The frame is tubular powdercoated steel (? aluminum?), about 1/2 inch in diameter and very sturdy. The "lines" are very heavy guage wire perhaps 3 mm in diameter; about the guage of a chain link fence or a bit heavier.
Total, there are about 45 "lines" (they'll overlap a bit depending on how you set it up), each 22 in wide. A mens medium or large shirt will fit unfolded, but not an extra large. You can also dry huge things like comforters and sheets by leaving the "wings" flat and draping the items across the top.
Pros:
-Versatility! The "wings" can be set up at a variety of heights, either horizontal or diagonal. Or, you can leave the wings down and have just an a-frame shape.
-Super sturdy. I hung 8 wet shirts on hangers from one end yesterday and it did not tip at all. My cat walked around on the top of it, too (of course), and it stayed very stable.
-It's huge! No other drying rack can come close to the size of this one.
-Lots of places to hang stuff. If you use every line you can hang 2-3 loads of wash, more if you hang some things on hangers.
-Easy to fold and unfold, no assembly required. It's about 4 in wide when closed. Fits easily in my tiny laundry closet next to the washer.
Cons:
-Price. It's reasonable but could be cheaper.
-It's pretty big, especially if you live in a small apartment with not much floor space.
-The wires will probably leave lines in your clothes, but that's true no matter how you line dry.
I can't think of any more cons! I'm very happy with this drying rack.

My first rack arrived damaged; the plastic pivot joint was cracked. Amazon made the return easy and a new one arrived quickly. It wasn't packed any better, but it wasn't damaged. It's been used almost daily since. It's sturdy enough to support several pairs of jeans or large bath towels. It has room for lots of smaller items too. I have retired my dryer for the winter, saving money and adding desperately needed humidity. I even managed to wash my king comforter in the bathtub and eased it onto the half-folded rack to drain and then dry. A fantastic helper!

A light switched on with me and I decided to begin using my dryer less. I had a rack I used to dry sweaters on but it was too small to handle larger loads so I begin looking for something else. So, I came across this rack. I am really enjoying this rack so far. To be honest, I do not see how other reviewers on here can say that this thing can hold 2 or 3 loads. When they say 2 or 3 loads, I'm sure they do not mean 2 or 3 full loads. Generally I have been able to put 1 full load and 1 or 2 lighter loads of whites or delicates. I cannot see how 2 loads of heavy laundry i.e. towels, jeans, etc would fit on this thing but it is great for a full load of heavies and another smaller load of whites and/or delicates.
