A high-quality way to save on energy and enjoy fresh smelling clothes!
This is the perfect solution to save on your energy bill ***and*** get to spend some time outside ***and*** enjoy fresh-smelling laundry ***and*** have to iron less because any breeze will do the trick (even more savings on your energy bill!) I've always wanted an umbrella dryer but never had the backyard for it, now I finally do. And I've been enjoying this high-quality product since the first day we put it up. It's very well made and holds a ***lot*** of laundry! Easy to turn, easy to raise and put down, and it comes with a pleasantly-green cover to shield it from the elements when you don't use it. Or you can simply pull it out of its holder and store it inside if that's your preference. It doesn't need concrete to be installed, but be careful when you install the post that you stick it into. I was a bit rough on it (maybe using a masonry hammer wasn't a good choice after all), so I dented the top and we had to cut off about 1/10" in order to insert the pole. I can only recommend this dryer if you don't mind the bit of extra work drying your laundry outdoors entails. --- One more thing: I think this is an import product, so it may take a little longer to get to you depending on how fast customs works. But the dryer is definitely worth the wait.
Great Quality
I recently left another review about a Whitney Design rotary dryer being such poor quality. This on the other hand is excellent! You can tell the difference in quality immediately! We haven't even used concrete to put it into the ground, just the ground spike, and so far so good. It's nice that it also came with a cover which keeps the dangling cords away from curious kids! The only thing that would make this PERFECT is a crank handle to raise it instead of a push button, but I am very, very happy with it. I don't think you would be disappointed if you also bought this product.
great green dryer
This as an easy and great way to go green with your clothes. Use kwik krete to anchor it (40 lb. bag) Not made for heavy blankets/ sodden sleeping bags etc... holds 2 full loads.
